Harriet Middleton designed these mittens  gloves to compliment both Harriet's Hat  Harriet's Headband  Harriet's Gloves  Harriet's Fingerless Gloves and Harriet's Mittens   which were all designed to raise funds for the Shetland MRI Scanner Appeal. 
Having had to travel from Shetland to the UK mainland every 3 months over 2 years for a scan, she knows first hand how beneficial the islands having their own scanner will be. That is what inspired her to use her knitting to draw the community together to support it. Now through her MRI Maakers group using donated wool, from ourselves and others, traditional knitting is doing just that.

All proceeds from the sale of this pattern goes direct to the Shetland MRI Scanner Appeal.

Requires 3mm & 3.25mm needles and Spindrift yarn.
