About Health & Safety Vest Pattern

This vibrant, Fair Isle vest will be as interesting and fun to knit as it is to wear. It gets its name from the jazz playing, safety conscious neighbour of Deborah for whom it was designed. The rich colour palette is fun, but you can easily substitute colours to make a more subdued version, or of course, an even brighter one!  The yarn used for this vest is Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift.

Size: This size will fit a slim man, or size 12-14 woman.

Actual size = width 54cm, length to armhole 40cm, total length 65cm. It can be blocked to vary the size. Since the pattern is very repeatable, 10 extra sts can be added at beginning and end of pattern repeat to increase width.
