Holiday Hat 2024 Kit - Yol Moorie

Simply Shetland and Gudrun Johnston are very excited to offer a second Holiday Hat kit for Christmas 2024!

Yöl Moorie features Shetland-inspired colorwork in a warm festive palette and comes with instructions for a beret and a beanie. Both can be made from the 5 balls in the kit by changing the colour placement.

Yöl Moorie is a blend of two Shetlandic words, Yöl meaning yuletime/festive season and Moorie being the word for a blizzard!

This kit comes in a cotton bag with a fresh new logo for 2024 designed by Gudrun’s daughter. A postcard with a pattern download code is also included & 5 balls of Jamieson's of Shetland Spindrift in Old Gold, Dog Rose, Old Rose, Grouse + Buttermilk.

Size: Circumference at brim: 18 (18¼)" / 46 (46.5) Length from brim to crown as worn: 8 ¾" / 22.5 cm both versions

Needles: US 4 / 3.5mm circular needle, 16" / 40cm length
