Little Orchid is a beautiful pattern, which is inspired by ancient carpet patterns of Asia Minor.
I designed this blanket with two pieces of a patchwork fabric on the back so that the baby´s face does not come in contact with the wool.

The blanket is made flat in one piece (not in the round).

Skill level: for experienced knitters

Finished size: 70 cm width x 91 cm length

Materials: 350 grams of Jamieson´s of Shetland Spindrift (105 m/ 25 g) - 10 colors
Patchwork fabric, 100 % cotton of size 80 cm x 50 cm

The pattern includes photos, a knitting technique tutorial, detailed preparation and knitting instructions, sewing instructions and nice coloured charts.
