The pattern itself based on skeleton leaves which Ive always had a fascination for! The cardigan body and sleeves are knitted bottom up and in the round. Steek stitches are included in the body which will later be cut open for the creation of the button bands. The body and sleeves are joined to create the yoke. A few decrease rows are worked at the underarms to ensure a close fit. The yoke patterning is then worked with decreases included in the last few rows for shaping. Short rows are added to raise the back neck ensuring a better fit. My Autumnsong Beanie pattern knits to the same gauge so can be a wearable swatch to ensure gauge is met or to try your own favourite alternative colour combinations.

Jamiesons of Shetland Spindrift (100% pure Shetland Wool: 105m/25g) in the following quantities:
MC Mustard 425 12 (13,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21)
CC1 Maroon 596 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
CC2 Amber 478 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
CC3 Madder 597 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
CC4 Ginger 462 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
CC5 Chartreuse 365 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
CC6 Granny Smith 1140 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
CC7 Leprechaun 259 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
CC8 Ivy 815 1(1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,2,2)
Please note all yarn quantities are approximations and you may wish to purchase more/fewer balls should you wish to alter the dimensions of your garment or should gauge not be met or an alternative yarn used.

Notions

1 2.5mm circular needle 60/80cm or preferred method for working in the round for ribs
1 2.75mm circular needle 60/80cm or preferred method of working in the round for stockinette
1 3mm circular needle 60/80cm or preferred method of working in the round for stranded colourwork yoke
1 set of each of 2.5mm, 2.75mm and 3mm DPN (or preferred method of working in the round) for sleeves.
