{"product_id":"starburst-shawl-janine-bajus-2071-p","title":"Starburst Shawl - Janine Bajus","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 20px;\"\u003eThe Starburst Shawl is a bold, graceful statement piece that I designed when I was scheduled to give a talk and needed to wear something powerful to give me courage.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 20px;\"\u003eA profusion of magic lilies inspired the 16 shades of Shetland fingering weight Spindrift yarn I usedbut the pattern would also be stunning in simple indigo blue and white or natural dark sheeps grey and cream combinations (or, of course, anything you desire!).\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 20px;\"\u003eThe Starburst Shawl is knit in the round from the point, forming a large cone that is then cut open to reveal the triangle shape. The borders, which hide the steek, are then knit onto the shawl.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 20px;\"\u003eThe very large motif (112 stitches square!) requires some trapping of long floats and is impossible to memorise, but its fun to work on a much larger scale without the worry of shaping for a sweater!
