Puffin - Tina Vejlø Andersen - Kastaniestrik
The Puffin is a very beautiful seabird, with its graphic expression and colourful beak.
The body is worked flat using intarsia technique and the beak is worked in Fair Isle technique.
The wings are worked in one piece on DPNs and are knit onto the body.
Feet and beak are worked separately and sewn onto the bird.
Dimension: The Puffin is approximately 15cm high.

Needles:
One pair straight needles 2.5mm (US 1.5), one set of 5 double pointed needles (DPNs) 2.5mm (US 1.5) and one DPN size 2mm (US 0).
Tension: 10x10cm = 29sts and 45rows on 2.5mm needle in stocking stitch.

Filling for the puffin: Fiber filling or sponge material cut in small pieces.
