Wee Blackface Sheep (ver1) - Janice Anderson (knitted fun version of the Blackface Sheep Breed)

Meet Dolly, a talented Wee Blackface sheep (find out about the breed here) and much loved baby sister to Colin (aka Wee Blackface Sheep, Version 2). A prodigy of musical theatre Dollys days are spent singing and dancing to an audience of gulls, rabbits and other creatures who reside along the spectacular cliff paths of Dunottar Castle. Each night Dolly can be found gazing at the stars dreaming of one day performing under the bright lights of Broadway.
Dolly has not yet had the courage to leave the fields of North East Scotland. But things are about to change, as Colin is on his way home, returning to join the MacSporran family in their annual celebration of Robbie Burns birthday. Colin has a surprise for Dolly. In his position as travel writer for the adventure company Farmyard Escapes, he has made many contacts. One of whom, the famous Broadway musical director, Billy Goat, has agreed to audition Dolly for a leading role in his forthcoming remake of a classic musical comedy. If all goes to plan Dollys dream of Broadway will soon become reality

Jamiesons of Shetland Marl
1 ball in 101 Natural Black (MC)
1 ball in 105 Eesit (CC)
Chunky; 120 m (131 yds) per 100 g ball; 100% pure Shetland wool grown and spun on the Shetland Isles of Scotland

Tension
17 (15) sts x 24 (22) rows = 10 cm (4 in) over unblocked st st worked in the round on smaller (larger) needles

Needles:
4.5 mm (US 7) and 6 mm (US 10) dpns x 5
Or size required to obtain gauge.

Size
Wee Blackface Sheep measures approximately 24 cm (9 1/2 in) in height from his bottom to the top of his head, 35.5 cm (14 in) from top to toe.

Amendment
An eagle eyed knitter has spotted an error in the Horn instructions. Please follow this amendment:

Everything is correct until Rnd 14 where the count should read 4/2. The following paragraph should state rem 3 rounds.
At the end of Rnd 15 you will have 5sts.
At the end of Rnd 16 you will have 4sts.
At the end of Rnd 17 you will have 3sts.
