This cable jacket is perfect when you need to keep warm outdoors, but with complete freedom of movement. The hood is great for protecting the neck and head from cold winds. With the horizontal cable yoke worked in short-row technique, this is an eye-catching and unconventional jacket that will draw lots of compliments!

Jamiesons of Shetland Marl (Chunky weight; 100% pure Shetland 
wool; 120m 131yds per 100g ball) 
9 (9, 10, 11, 11) x 100g balls in 200 Chianti 

Tension 
15 sts and 20 rows to 10 cm over stockinette stitch using 6mm needles.

Needles & Accessories 
For the yoke, body and edges use the following needles: 
1 set of 6mm (UK 4/US 10) circular (cir) needles (100cm 
length) 
1 set of 5.5mm (UK 5/US 9) cir needles (at least 120cm 
length for working the garter edging)

For sleeves, use the following double-pointed needles (DPNs). 
If you can work the magic-loop method with circular needles, you dont need DPNs: 
1 set of 6mm (UK 4/US 10) double-pointed needles (DPNs) 
1 set of 5.5mm (UK 5/US 9) DPNs
