Easter Egg
These Easter Eggs are beautifully decorated with knitted flowers.
Put a thread or ribbon on the egg if you want to hang it up as decoration or use them as decoration on the Easter table.
Size:
The Easter egg is 8cm high and 6cm wide.
1 egg without filling weights approximately 3g.
Yarn:
Spindrift, 100% Pure Shetland Wool from Jamiesons of Shetland.
Shades:
25g shade 304 White.
25g shade 547 Orchid.
25g shade 768 Eggshell.
25g shade 603 Pot-pourri.
Needles:
One set of double pointed needles (DPNs) 2.0mm (US 0).
Tension:
10x10cm = 33sts and 53rows on 2.0mm (US 0) needle in stocking stitch.
Other materials:
Filling for the Easter egg: Fiber filling or sponge material
cut in small pieces.
