Mushroom
Also known as Fluesvamp, Champignon.
These little mushrooms are knitted on DPNs.
Small spots are embroidered on the hat.
It can also be decorated with beads.
Sew a silk ribbon or a thread onto the mushroom, and then it can be used as decoration on a branch or on the Christmas tree.
Size:
The mushroom is 5cm high and the hat is 4cm in diameter.
One mushroom weighs approximately 2grams.
Yarn:
Spindrift, 100% Pure Shetland Wool from Jamiesons of Shetland.
Shades:
Red (Fly agaric):
25g shade 595 Maroon.
25g shade 104 Natural White.
Brown:
25g shade 141 Camel.
25g shade 190 Tundra.
Needles:
One set of double pointed needles (DPNs) 2.5mm (US 1.5).
Tension:
10x10 cm = 29sts and 45rows stocking stitch.
Other materials (not included):
Filling for the Mushroom: Fiber filling or sponge material cut in small pieces or waste yarn.
