Smooriken Mittens - Mandy Moore - Olach Designs
When our children were small we used to play a game with them at bedtime to keep the scary monsters away! We used to blow 1000 kisses into the air and get them to catch them in their hands then pop them under their pillows to give them reassuring kisses if they needed them during the night. Smooriken is Shetland dialect for a kiss and these mitts are covered in love and kisses to reflect this. If you look closely you may see a smiley monster too! They are knitted in Spindrift.
Gauge 32sts/29rows over stranded colourwork in the round. Use size 2.75mm needles as start point for gauge but adjust needle size accordingly if gauge not met.
Size - to fit average adult size hand.
