Wee Blackface Booties - Janice Anderson

In this latest design from my Wee Blackface Sheep series, inspiration comes from the joy of Spring and the green fields bursting with carefree, bouncing lambs.

Size:
To fit size 0-6 (6-12) months

• 8.5 (10) cm 314 (4) long
• 5.5 (7) cm 214 (234) tall

Yarn:
0-6 months:
Jamiesons of Shetland Spindrift:
(MC): 1 x Slate (#125)
(CC): 1 x Natural White (#104)
Jamiesons of Shetland Ultra:
(LC): 1 x Honeysuckle (#412)
6-12 months:
Jamiesons of Shetland Spindrift:
(MC): 2 x Natural Black (#101)
(CC): 1 x Natural White (#104)
Jamiesons of Shetland Ultra:
(LC): 1 x Clyde Blue (#168)
Note: For size 6-12 months the designer used one 25 g of MC, with only a few cm to spare. As gauge can vary slightly and/or you may wish to increase the length of the foot. I have therefore recommended the purchase a second balljust in case!

Needles and Notions:
2 sets of 2.5 mm (US 112) (or size required to achieve gauge)  circular or DPNs to work small diameter in the round
4 Stitch Markers (all different)
Waste yarn
Darning needle
Sewing thread to match CC.

Gauge:
For MC and CC: 8.5 sts x 12 rows = 2.5 cm (1 )
over St st worked in the round.
For LC: 9 sts x 14 rows = 2.5 cm (1 ) over St st worked in the round.
