The Yellow Island Jacket is knit in the round, with only two colours in each round. The pattern contains instructions for steeking and for placing buttonholes. The sweater is a basic raglan with knitted on edges and collar. A small motif runs up the side and along the raglan line.
The pattern is written for 6 sizes: 35, 39, 43, 47, 51, and 55. I suggest 3-4 inches of ease if you want to wear this as a jacket.
The wide sweater bands are knit with two strands held together, which makes them knit up quickly.
